The real problem

Re: Tourism and Parker

The problem is not that tourism in Samoa needs to be promoted.

Samoa and other Pacific islands have always been attractions to tourists.

The concern is how safe are the tourists? Look at what happened with a couple from Australia? The woman was raped by an escaped prisoner. Tuilaepa said in an interview, “they were at the wrong place at the wrong time”.

The couple were at a place they paid lots of money to stay, it was the right place for tourists. That was a pathetic and embarrassing response from Tuilaepa. UNACCEPTABLE. That couple should have their money refunded. Tourism in Samoa is a great investment, but there is a need for their safety and have an incredible time and experience in our beautiful islands. We need new leadership in Samoa to make things right. Good luck and all the best for Parker!
