PR - Business System Limited has wrapped up their Schools Project parallel to this school year calendar.

B.S.L Schools Project formed part of their All Year Round Back to School Campaign, launched earlier this year. It was the first time a company executed an all year round campaign for the Back to School season, which normally happens around January to February.

The B.S.L Schools Project was geared towards schools - on top of its other promotions that were offered directly to customers like parents and children.

The condition was, the school with the highest purchase from B.S.L for the school year calendar 2016 will win a Van for the school. There were also 5x additional great prizes for the next 5 schools in the ranking. A lot of schools from around the country were all vying for this great initiative. Parents and children were also welcome to nominate their schools, and 10% of their purchases during the year would then go towards the nominated school.

A number of schools attended the presentation ceremony for this Project which was held at B.S.L Complex at Taufusi.

At the presentation, Manager IT and Senior Marketing Officer, Arnold Meredith acknowledged the continuous support of not just the schools that attended but also all the schools, parents and children who have been their loyal customers since BSL first opened in 1977.

In particular, he emphasized B.S.L’s key focus on schools and education, something which B.S.L has never failed to support over the years.

“B.S.L has always been a key player in the Education Sector since 1977 and it is our privilege to continue this partnership and commitment to our community, going forward. This is the key reason behind this initiative,” says Arnold.

The recipient of the Grand Prize, the van, is Don Bosco Savaii. Their representative could not have been more excited. He expressed his sincere gratitude on behalf of the school as he received the grand prize.

“I thank you sincerely on behalf of Don Bosco as this is such a great honour to have been gifted a van. It is such a remarkable project and we thought it was great as this was a much-needed resource for the school,” says Don Bosco’s representative.

School Principals and teachers as well as students really enjoyed the presentation and the fellowship afterwards.

Additional to the presentation, a Song Competition amongst schools was also part of the program. Schools were asked to compose a song on the theme “Christmas with BSL”. The winning song will be used as the official song for the campaign called “Christmas with BSL”.

Schools went out of their way and put together great songs and were all performed at the presentation. The students that participated in the Song competition received vouchers which entitle them to 20% discount once the Back to School Campaigns kick starts at BSL in January.
