An evening for a good cause

Cricket has tremendous potential for growth in Samoa.

This was the overwhelming message at The Orator Hotel on Friday night.

There Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi, as the Chairman of the Samoa International Cricket, was joined by former Black Caps captain, Luteru Ross Taylor and another former Black Cap, Murphy Su’a for an evening to raise funds for the sport.

Taylor, whose roots are in Saoluafata where his mother, Naoupu Lote Ann is from, said he was pleased to be able to visit Samoa.

He added that there is a lot of potential for growth but like many other sports, money and resources are needed. Here are some more images from the evening:
