N.Z. Prime Minister touches down in Samoa

Deputy Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa has welcomed New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern and her partner, Clarke Gayford.

They touched down at Faleolo International Airport this evening.

Ardern is with New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters and a host of Cabinet Ministers from New Zealand.

Fiame was accompanied by C.E.O. of Foreign Affairs, Peseta Nomea Simi, Miss Samoa Papali’i Alexandra Iakopo who awaited the New Zealand delegation. 

Aside from N.Z. government officials, close to 30 media personnel are also on the trip.

The Prime Minister is in Samoa for one day and is staying at Taumeasin Island Resort.
