After courting each other for more than a year, Sione and Ruth said their “I do’s” at the Leloto Catholic Church Leauva’a on Saturday.

Father Iosefo Mulipola conducted the service where he reminded the new couple that love is the foundation of marriage.

“Love is patient, love is kind, it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, love never fails,” he recited the words from the scriptures.

“The journey will not be an easy one. You will go through ups and downs on the way but always remember the vows you took in front of your families and friends and most especially in front of God.

“You promised each other that through thick or thin, the good time and the bad, in sickness or in health you will love each other for the rest of your lives.”

Father Iosefo also reminds them that love God is the foundation of it all. The bride is the eldest child of Ivona and Tualasea Tino’s eight children. She is 23 years old and works at Yazaki Eds Samoa.

The groom is the second child of Kirisimasi Sione and Iutita Autagavaia.

He was raised by Rev. Siaosi and Perelini Leleimalefaga.

A police officer, the groom is 23-years-old. He hails from the villages of Vailoa Palauli, Savai’i and Vaivase. The reception was held at the E.F.K.S Hall at Sogi.
