Share that happiness

Earlier this year, Digicel Samoa launched a promotion during which five lucky students were awarded a scholarship for three years.

The students certainly experienced happiness, thanks to the Bigger, Better Network.

Now, Digicel is ready to spread their message of happiness even further. The company has launched a new campaign with special offers for upcoming Mother’s Day where Digicel is providing more chances to make their customers happy.

The programme includes a contest for Digicel customers in which they have the chance to win up to $120,000.

The participation is rather easy: by topping up their phone or paying outstanding bills on time, customers automatically have the chance to win money on every following Monday until the end of the campaign.

Digicel chose the theme of happiness for their latest campaign because the company had created overwhelmingly positive experiences during their last campaign.

“We noticed during our ‘We are Family’ campaign, which was a huge success in terms of bringing families closer together, that people were really happy in general,” said Agnes Fruean, of Digicel.

“That led us to the thought on what we could do to improve that experience for our customers.”

The new campaign will also take place on social media platforms such as Facebook.

“Everybody is invited to hold up a sign for happiness and to share with us what makes them happy.”

The company wants to encourage their customers to share not only the most obvious expressions of happiness, but also the small things that make everyday occurrences an instance of happiness.

“Happiness can be just enjoying a cup of coffee and relaxing for a moment during everyday stresses, or spending time with the family. It is really up to anyone what makes them happy. We want the people to share that with us, so that we can spread the happiness in Samoa.”
