Prize Giving for Zone D tournaments

Nine Colleges in Zone D celebrated the end of the term tournaments earlier this week.

The celebration was for their rugby and netball competitions. The prize giving was hosted and sponsored by Business System Limited.

Held at the Wesley College Hall Faleula President of the Zone D, Reverend Amosa Tapuaī congratulated all the colleges involved.

“The truth is these schools in the Zone D are brothers despite the different denominations we come from,” he said.

“It was a great tournament and so today it’s not the awards but it’s the spirit of one heart and one soul. These colleges were able to play without any fights and arguments and now we have come to the end of it.”

He acknowledged the support of B.S.L.

“You have made this tournament possible and without a doubt the Zone D colleges will fully support your company just as you have helped us.”

B.S.L. Marketing manager Leeroy Feaunati thanked the committee of Zone B schools for supporting the company.

“Our mandate is to help the students not only in the classrooms but also outside of the classroom,” he said.

“Competitions like this will not only help the minds of the students within the classrooms but it will also help them physically in terms of fitness and participation in all school activities.

“We believe that the students played in one heart and soul as the teachers and principals were able to help.

“So today I am on behalf of our staff members to congratulate all of the schools who participated in this terms tournament.”
