Identity Theft

Think a minute…The worldwide web, personal computer, tablet and smart phone have brought the world of information into our hands.

Unfortunately, it has also spread a deadly crime called identity theft. Each and every day thousands of people have their identity stolen! A person who knows how to get into your personal records can steal your personal identity in just seconds.

In fact, did you know that you already have been the victim of identity theft? Not the stealing of your money and credit, but something even more valuable.

We humans all have a problem: instead of being who we are, we often act the way we think others want us to be. It’s been said: “He who finds himself loses his pain.” One of our most important challenges in life is to know the answer to this question: Who in the world am I?

The Greek philosopher Plato said: “Above all, know yourself.” Know your own personality and abilities. Know what you are good at and enjoy doing. Know what is important for your life and what kind of character you were designed to have. “To be yourself when the world is doing its best to make you like everyone else is one of the greatest battles a human can fight.”

The world champion boxer Muhammad Ali said: “You don’t have to be what they want you to be.” So don’t let others rob you of who you are. No one has that right! Remember, there will never be another person exactly like you. The only way to be truly happy and successful is to know yourself so you can be yourself.

But to find yourself, you must first find the One Who designed and created you. Your Maker desperately wants to help you discover and become who He made you to be. He has even given us His manual, the Bible, that explains to us who we are.

So don’t let anyone steal your identity and true life any longer. Don’t lose one more day! Ask Jesus right now to take charge of your mind and heart? As you live His way each day, He will help you start becoming the one-of-a-kind person He made you to be. Your Creator is the only one who can show and help you live your life to the fullest, according to His special plan for you.

Just think a minute…
