In February 2015, the Club launched its ‘BSL Back-to-School Netball Tournament’ In Upolu in partnership with other like minded programs also happening within the community for young people such as the Nobesity Program.

The overall objectives of the ‘BSL Back-to-School Netball Tournament’ Initiative is to engage with young people through netball and sports and:

1) Raise their consciousness and enthusiasm for the beginning of another academic year.

2) Promote healthy living to children, parents, families and teachers;

3) Promote the development of netball in the community as an inclusive sport;

4) Strengthen partnership between schools, B.S.L, Netball Samoa, S.C.O.P.A Netball Club, the private companies dealing with the promotion of education and services, and other relevant stakeholders.

This is an annual tournament by S.C.O.P.A netball club and one to look forward to.

S.C.O.P.A acknowledges Business Systems Limited and all the many corporate sponsors and individual supporters who contributed to the successful implementation of the BSL 1 Day Back to School Netball Tournament.
