Samoa has been mentioned in the global mystery on the whereabouts of DJ Khaled.

While thousands of his followers have been asking of his whereabouts, MaiFM New Zealand has posted a story headlined: “DJ Khaled has reportedly been spotted laxing it up in Samoa!”

Where about in Samoa though, the story does not say.

But it quotes social media posts by Samoa’s Brianna Fruean and shows photos of a private jet at Faleolo International Airport captured by Mele Maualaivao at the beginning of the week.

It’s hard to tell from the photos the hotel – if DJ Khaled – is indeed in Samoa. One of the theories is that he stopped by at Faleolo International Airport on his way to wherever he is.

Attempts are being made to get a comment from the Airport Authority.

The mystery of his whereabouts has deepened since DJ Khaled was supposed to have featured as one of the stars at the Wireless Festival in London.

Khaled Mohamed Khaled is an American record producer, radio personality, DJ, record label executive and author. 

He was a radio host for the Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR "99 Jamz" and the DJ for the hip hop group Terror Squad.
