Follow the constitution

Dear Editor

Re: Dear Head of State, a very sensitive matter, says P.M. Tuilaepa

The supreme law of Samoa is obvious in black ink; after Tanumafili II and Mea’ole as joint head of states, whomever passes away first, the surviving one will hold the appointment for life.

After them, then it is up to Parliament to appoint a head of state; apropos to the status quo.

The Hon. Prime Minister of Samoa should not pay attention to garbage but obey the Constitution.

The gratuitous idea of recycling a former Head of State into the Council of Deputy perhaps a panacea, but for what logic? May I ask.

I had thought the ruling political party is there to protect the right of everyone of us the people of Samoa.

What is good for Tama Aiga should be good for other matai; e au ile fagota e au ile tauola.

Why cannot Tuiloma Pule Lameko or Le Mamea Lopati Mualia become the head of state; or whoever is a senior member of the Council of Deputies?

Failing that then HRPP conspicuously stands for Hollywood Republic People’s Party.
