A very interesting twist

Dear Editor

Re: Namualuulu Alama Ieremia’s new role

I read very careful between the lines here. This was the coach that had mixed result with our boys and had been appointed by World Rugby, the colonial executive power running this conglomerate business.

At the moment our team is coached by a coach of our choosing, I personally believe of a higher commitment and patriotism which the World Rugby doesn’t approve of because it’s not their man.

Remember us being booted out of the Brisbane 10’s on the excuse of a rotational schedule reported just last week?

That was by design. We are being spanked for talking up to the daddy. Remember we’re supposed to be the poor native slaves that are only allowed to say thank you and not to complain.

Now that Alama’s been given a high profile job in Auckland despite the result of his limited tenure with our union with mixed results, is a message that they will look after their people and punish the back talkers like us.

Alama is a NZ resident and the money would be circulated in-house even though he’s assigned to our rugby union.

With Fui as coach and Samoan resident 100% the World Rugby doesn’t see it their agenda to pay for a native grown coach and cannot profit from us assigning our own people.

The omission form the Brisbane 10’s is their way of putting a leash on us hiding behind a pretty face of that women in the paper to send a very dubious message.

With all due respect to Alama and his family as a Samoan, good for him. He’s been rewarded for being himself.

As of any value to Samoan rugby union, Zero.
