Zahra in Samoa: A night to remember

Taumeasina was the right place to be on Wednesday night. 

It was where the renowned Dutch singer, Julia Zahra performed for her fans who rushed to the stage to catch a closer glimpse of their idol, as she performed a variety of songs. 

The 21-year-old Ms. Zahra is returning back home after spending three days in Samoa. 

Her short stop in Samoa ended with a concert on the beach, under the stars. 

It was indeed a night of fun, entertainment, laughter’s and one most will not easily forget.

She also called out to the crowd to join her several times during her perforance. 

More so, the very excited singer all the way from Amsterdam thanked the Samoan crowd for making her feel at home. 

She also spoke about her experience in Samoa. 

Although it was short, her experience she said, was “just amazing.”

“And tonight is the end to an amazing experience.

“I still can’t believe that I am here doing all this.”

The crowd sang along to the variety of songs sang by Ms Zahra. 

She sang a cover to the Summer of ’69 by Bryan Adams, Empire State of Mind, Oops I did it again by Britney Spears and others. 

But the Dutch Singer and song-writer struck high chord in the hearts of the crowd when she sang her famous rendition of the song “Just an illusion” by BZN. 

Hundreds of people of all ages, both from Samoa and overseas enjoyed the concert and it was the perfect opportunity for most of them to wine down, enjoy and have a good time. 

But that wasn’t all; local young singers also shared the stage with Ms Zahra on that night. 

While she was in Samoa, Ms. Zahra has been updating her fans and followers on Facebook, of what she had been doing during her short time in Samoa.
