Cabinet to decide on C.E.O. for Games Organising Committee
Cabinet is to have the final say on the Chief Executive Officer of the 2019 Pacific Games Organising Committee.
That’s according to Prime Minister and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi, who said his Cabinet were deliberate last night on the appointment of a Chief executive.
He also said a check of games facilities had identified areas for improvement with workers from China due to start repairs and maintenance under an aid arrangement.
Samoa was named host of the Games last year after original host Tonga pulled out.
Tuilaepa spearheaded a short campaign to bring the games to Samoa with Guam as the only other bidder.
