Satalo defeated the S.O.S Stallions in a nail biting match at the Vailima Marist International Sevens Tournament with a final score of 17-19.

Still, Satalo didn’t let status define them one bit.

Immediately after kick off, the Stallions were the first ones to put point on the board looking cool, confident and composed.

Satalo refused to give them the lead for long and soon fired back with a try of their own evening the score.

From there, Satalo broke into stride.

Minutes before the call for half time, a scrum was awarded deep in Satalos their own 22.  Once gaining possession, it was clean hand to the outside wing who managed to side step Zac Guidlford and kick and chase the ball down the sideline.

Once retrieved, Satalo’s wing broke into space and kicked it in directly diagonal to the opposite wing who picked up the ball and scored one of the most impressive tries of the tournament.

At half Satalo led by 5-12.

Back from half, the Stallions came back harder and stronger then their last half.

Still, Satalo fielded an extremely fit team who played a high intensity match for the entire fourteen minutes.

Second half was the fight to the death for both teams looking to get ahead of each other.

Stallions manage to put some more point on the board but when the bell rang  it was 10-19.

The Stallion, Antonia Kirkiri, made the final try for the Stallions in half but that damage was already done. Satalo came away with the biggest upset of the tournament with a final score of 17-19.
