The Vailima Fight for Marist was a popular choice for members of the community on Wednesday night.

The event which precedes to the Vailima Marist Sevens tournament which kicks off today, was full of fun and laughter.

National Kidney Foundation (Right to Left): Fara Nauer,
Vaaelua Seiuni, Faitala Leota, Simolo Tunifao, Afatia Palamo,
John Tusiupu, Kaisapa Sape.

There were the serious boxers, the contenders and then there were the comedians.

All in all, the spirits were high among members of the community who gathered, especially at ringside where the drinks were flowing and food aplenty.

Vailima Breweries, the main sponsor, ensured no one left the building thirsty.

Everyone came dressed to impress. Crowds laughed during the corporate fights and were thoroughly impressed by some real boxing from some of the local boys.

Among the audience was Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi, several Cabinet Ministers and election candidates who would have enjoyed a breather from more serious side of election campaigning.
