N.O.L.A shares info at Anoamaa

Nuanua O Le Alofa (N.O.L.A) in partnership with the Office of the Electoral Commission and Ombudsman Office will be conducting an information sharing session with its members in Anoama’a District today.

The meeting will be at the Methodist Hall in Lufilufi, starting at 9:30am.

The aim of the meeting is to introduce persons with disabilities and their families to the roles of N.O.L.A and its partners, advocate for equal opportunities, and for members to participate and contribute in all aspects of life. 

It will also empower members to realise their right to vote and participate in political processes, to share stories and successes to be part of the Human Rights report.

Furthermore, the session will provide an opportunity for N.O.L.A to build support and solidarity towards the advancement of promoting the protection of persons with disabilities rights and interests in Samoa.  

Hence, calling on persons with disabilities in Anoama’a District to join N.O.L.A and be part of this movement.

N.O.L.A acknowledged the ongoing support of the Office of the Electoral Commission and the Ombudsman Office in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities, and creating the opportunity to participate in this important process.

The programme is funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as part of the Samoa Disability Programme.
