The E.F.K.S Vaimoso church was packed with families and friends on Saturday from all over the world to celebrate the marriage of Maulupe Kirisimasi Pitovao and Toaganamua Betty Tofa.

The ceremony was conducted by Reverend Amosa Reupena followed by a joyous reception at Manumailagi Garden where a number of high profile guests were present including the Minister of Finance, Sili Epa Tuioti and Minister for Revenue, Tionisio John Hunt.

The groom is the son of Tulima Taele Pitovao and Eli Vaelua Tulima from the villages of Samamea, Uafato, Taelefaga Fagaloa and Magiagi, Matautu and Moataa.

The bride, Toaganamua is the eldest of five children and is the daughter of the late Lealaitafea Tauave and Sianatu Lealaiauloto Aso Tofa from the villages of Vaimoso, Vaimea, Salailua, Faga and Sapapalii Savaii.

Both are accountants by profession.

Whereas Kirisimasi Pitovao works as the Head of Finance for British American Tobacco at Vaitele, Betty Tofa works as Audit Manager for Betham Accounting Firm at Lalovaea.

The couple met in July 2015 when the groom asked her out but said yes only in October.

They are a perfect match; both are kind, humble and loving people said one close friend of the couple.

The groom however believes he is the luckiest guy in the world that his bride is the “most beautiful blessing from heaven.”
