Vision or interference?

Dear Editor

Re: Govt. decision slammed

I’m not really a sports person but when I read about the success of Miss Opeloge I thought wow Wallwork Jr is really doing a great job developing these athletes to world standard but after reading his comments I am somehow shocked at how he as an athlete, fails to see the great vision by the minister (remember not many of these guys come up with great vision such as the said minister).

What in my opinion is great about the minister’s decision to introduce the sport at an early stage through schools will give every child the opportunity to decide whether weight lifting is their thing or not and if they decide to follow in the path of Tuaopepe then that also would benefit the Federation and if the ministers decision is for the development of the sport other then stepping in when all the hard work and foundation has been laid by the Federation then Tuaopepe is right.

Remember something Tuaopepe, you have dedicated many years to the sport and have been known by the world body; you do not want to be known as a disgruntled employee.
