Re: N.O.L.A awards
This is a great event for the disability community in Samoa.
Thanks to the N.O.L.A. and all bodies that helped put together this one for the disabled.
My only problem is the way the nominees were selected. I had nothing against the awards recipients but there are other people with disabilities that could have been CHAMPS if the selection was done properly.
Here’s a few good examples, there is a lady with Cerebral Palsy who is a lawyer for the N.H.S, there’s also another lady who is an amputee and a former teacher who is collaborating and leading the women’s committee in one of the villages in Savai’i. So I hope this event continues but with a bigger scope of nominees.
