It’s exciting, loud and great fun

Split second decisions can be the difference between winning and losing.

On the field, two teams of seven players contest exciting, fast and fun matches, with the result based on goals – the team that can score the most.

The Faleata District Primary Netball Competition is all of the above with 15 schools participating from government, mission and private controlling authorities.

On a Wednesday morning, when you pass Vaimea Primary School, you will see all players in an array of colourful netball uniforms, parents cheering from the sideline going wild with each goal scored and an efficient Organising Committee controlling the games.

The Organising Committee is led by their President of the Faleata District – Ferila L Masina, Secretary – Tonuu F Amituanai Misi and School Inspector of the Faleata District – Vaiaso Finau.

All school districts are having their own inter primary school netball competition with the aim of selecting a representative team from their District to compete in the National KidsNET Primary Champ of Champs on the 3rd and 4th May at the N.U.S. Gym.

KidsNET is the National Junior development program of Netball Samoa through its partnership with Netball Australia and Government of Australia under the One Netball Pacific Programme.
