C.C.K. Trading Limited has reached another milestone with the relaunch of their Vaitele Store.

After a brief opening ceremony at the Moanalisa Hotel Complex yesterday, Ken Newton and Tialavea Tionisio Hunt cut the ribbon.

Driven by their company motto – A little goes a long way – C.C.K. Trading Ltd’s General Manager, Georgina Lui spoke about how much the motto applies to the humble beginnings of the company.

“C.C.K started from humble beginnings as a second hand store at the W.S.T.E.C. building in Sogi way back in 1989,” she said.

“Over the last 27 years C.C.K. has expanded and now has stores at Matafele, Saleufi, Salelologa and right here now in Vaitele.

“This Vaitele store was originally opened in May 2010 only in the front half to this ground floor section, as this satellite city of Vaitele grew and grew, we eventually took the whole ground floor and with continued growth in this area.

“We knew we need to expand to have a full size store to match the one in Apia. So with the cooperation of Seigafo John Hunt and his family who were to build a second story building onto this section, our dream can now be realized.”

Georgina then continued on to express a word of thanks to those who have helped the company along the way.

“So now I would like to give thanks to those who helped,” she said.

“Thank you to my parents for building this business as a legacy for your children and for working hard every day to ensure its success.

“Thank you especially to my mother, whose time spent hand sorting second hand clothes everyday, is the reason behind the C.C.K. clothing stores.

“Secondly, I would like to give thanks to our loyal customers for supporting C.C.K and for without your patronage we would not be where we are today.

“Thank you also to Seigafo John Hunt and family for accepting our request to add a second story on to this building so that we could realize our dream.”
