What are you talking about?

Dear Editor

Re: Parliament in Samoa

You don’t know what you are talking about. Those system that you are referring to as presidential are just dictatorships.

The parliamentary system in the way it is set up can be a dictatorship because of party discipline, which is what they all have.

NZ, Canada, Australia, our mother country of Britain who colonized us all has this feature, but in these countries it works ok because they don’t have that stupid rule Samoa has of 5 people in one district all running under one name.

This is why the PM in Samoa gets ridiculous majorities that you don’t see the other countries PMs get.

You can defend and spin you ridiculous spin about the opposition getting the advantage but the proof is in the results of all the countries. You are full of crap and so is the 5 HRPP rule running in one district.

So is the Court petitions just before Election Day. The PM is a dictator in chief and your elections are rigged.

You are just like a member of any dictatorship who justifies a corrupt system. The leader of china argues they have a democratic voting system too.

You are the same as the leader of China if you argue that the 5 person rule is democratic. It is not.
