Junior Malu Tuivaiave Felise and Jasmine Ana Mikaele tied the knot at the Malololelei Catholic Parish on Saturday.

Father Penetito Mauga conducted the ceremony where he reminded the couple that love is the key to a successful marriage.

“Let God be the centre of your marriage,” said Father Penetito.

“This is a life time commitment and you will go through problems but always remember your promises to each other.”

Jasmine is the eldest of the late Iosefo Mikaele and Elina Iosefo Mikaele Tevaga’s three children. She works at the Ministry of Health and she hails from the villages of Samalaeulu and Salelologa.

According to Mrs. Tevaga, her daughter is a humble person.

“She loves her family very much, she is also committed to church stuff and she is a God-fearing woman. She met Junior during a youth gathering as he is also Catholic but in Falefa Parish.”

Junior is the son of Tuivaiave Malu and Sopolemalama Masoe Felise and he is the youngest of two. He hails from the villages of Falefa and Lalomanu.

He works at the Ministry of Public Enterprises. The reception was held at the N.U.S Fale at Le Papaigalagala.
