The final matches and prizegiving of the Business House cricket competition took place at the Tuanaimato fields on Friday evening.

It was the final round of the five week competition, with ten teams competing in matches twice a week after work.

The Samoa International Cricket Association’s Tavita Sasi said the social competition is a part of the inclusion segment of their cricket development programme.

“There are two objectives – having fun and living healthy.”

Seb and Rene Sports Limited donated the trophy, and have sponsored the tournament since it began.

This year it was won by U.S.P. Alafua Campus, over M & M Construction and Alafua Raiders in 2nd and 3rd.

U.S.P.’s Senira Sua was awarded best female batsman, with Faleseu Tauauvea picking up the prize for best female bowler.

Her teammate Talomua Tuilaepa won the best male bowler award, and Tugane Archie of Lober Industries Limited was awarded best male batsman.
