The world renowned Surgicorps International team is returning to Samoa this month.

They are set to be in Samoa from February 18-22 at the Tupua Tamasese Hospital (TTH) at Motootua and comprise American doctors specialising in plastic and reconstructive surgeries to repair functional deformities, injuries, cleft lip, cleft pallet, skin conditions (including cancers) and burns.

Members of the public interested in the services offered by Surgicorps team have to visit or contact the TTH to register their interest. The group last visited early 2018.

The team of physicians and medical professionals provide free surgical and medical care to people in need in developing countries like Samoa, as well as foster an exchange of knowledge and experience among medical professionals.

The Surgicorps’ mission is to help people lead a more normal, healthy, and productive life.
