Economic justice

Re: Church Minister feels deceived

The pastors need to get the people of their congregations to lobby to make those in government pass a law that ministers and associate ministers must report their envelopes including how much was in it and whom they received it from.

The law should state if the member doesn’t report what they receive and if they get caught they serve prison time.

The pastors have this power over their people to make this law a reality.

The pastors have an obligation to ask their members to do this because it is about justice that government is transparent, and accountable and not in a conflict of interest.

Get on it pastors, your poor people deserve some economic justice and you have the power to make society more just for them.

The pastors can make Samoa democratic if they choose to do good.
