Two days from the God’s Grace Will Restore Concert, students at Loto Taumafai yesterday reveled in the opportunity to meet the star of the show, Annie Puletiuatoa-Tonumalii.

Annie, her husband Mission and some members of their team visited the school as part of the build up to Saturday’s free concert in front of the government building.

“Definitely for us it is an amazing honor to see Annie and her team enjoying themselves with us this morning,” Principal of Loto Taumafai, Lagi Natanielu said.

“Annie asked me if she could come and visit when we met before, and today, we’re really humbled that she finally have her time here with us. As you can see, not many of them fully embrace what the message is, but the Bible says that – not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit so thank you for coming…and Glory be unto God for making it all possible.”

Annie and her team also thanked Loto Taumafai School for the invitation.

“What an honor to be here this morning,” said Annie.

The free community event this Saturday planned in front of the government building aims to raise awareness about constant challenges such as depression and suicide.

Honoured as New Zealand’s Best Pacific Female Artist in 2006, Annie will be accompanied by a production team of more than 20 on Saturday night.

Annie and her group also visited St. Mary’s College at Vaimoso yesterday.
