PR - Taking a bold step to redefine the SUV market in Asia Pacific and beyond, Ford has unveiled the new Ford Everest, a technologically advanced, stunningly capable and refined seven-seat SUV that is now available in Samoa.

Ford Hyundai Samoa offers the much-anticipated Everest model that will square up against the likes of the Toyota Prado and Mitsubishi Pajero.

Style-wise, it is a big departure from the Ranger success and it appears both stylish and sophisticated, inside and out, but still features body-on-chassis construction suitable for Samoa’s rugged conditions.

In terms of powertrains, there’ll be the existing Ranger options of the 2.2-litre and 3.2-litre Duratorq TDCi turbodiesels and a six speed Automatic transmission.

The Everest will offer both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations with a ground clearance of 225 mm and 800 mm of wading depth.

The seven-seater will feature high-end functions like curve control, lane-keeping aid, blind-spot information and cross-traffic alert.

“From the very beginning of Ford Hyundai Samoa we set aggressive targets, and with the Ford Everest, Ford has truly raised the bar for this type of vehicle in design and capability, offering the people of Samoa a more inclusive option”. said Victoria Petelo, Sales Manager of Ford Hyundai Samoa.
